Because here's the truth: I could not even afford this neighborhood right now and it hasn't even been a year! It's only been SEVEN MONTHS and the prices of these little homes on my street that have the exact same floor plan as mine, are in the $150,000's! (And they aren't even as cute as mine)! They've gone up $30,000! In asking price, anyway. I don't know how much they're actually selling for. It's insane!
